Training
Training at Highbridge is the first step to being the proud owner of a well behaved pet. Our courses are tailor made to suit your requirements and are set out to get the most from you and your dog.
Puppy Basic (from 14 weeks)
This is a starter course and aims to teach you such basics as getting your dog to respond to their name, basic health checks, how and when to groom, recall and sit, walking on a lead and general control.
Beginners (from 1year old)
This is the next step on and offers further progression on the Basic course and goes on to recall off the lead, food refusal and better control of your dog.
Intermediate
Once you have passed the Beginners course and have a reasonable amount of control we aim to teach greater control and master disciplines such as heel work off the lead, sit and stay off the lead and down stay.
Advanced
This is a course mainly designed around your needs and we aim to teach such disciplines as scent work, heelwork off the lead and retrieval.
Behavioural
If you have a pet, which you think has behavioural problems, and would like them to change then our instructors have years or experience and can construct a programme for you and your dog to follow and aim to correct any problems.
All of our courses are one to one and are moulded around your requirements, as we understand that everybody has different needs from their dogs. At the end of each course we set a short test to show the skills you both have learnt and upon passing you will be presented with a certificate and rosette.
